As far as I can tell, BETA comes before SIGMA. Still they exalt SIGMA and deride the BETA, whatever that means. They are just letters, as far as I know. Is this a new local sect I have not heard about or did these kids just not learn their ALPHA, BETA, GAMMAS?

Sigma: The far evolved thinking man. Leads from the shadows, could take all the girls but doesn’t cause they’re too busy in the pursuit of knowledge. Basically the line wolf.
This is again an extension of the Cool Chad/Slut Stacy/Nerd trope but with the addition of a Sigma.
Nowadays you call someone a Sigma to basically say they’re a Chad/cool.
Then there’s also a meme where you just ask people “Hey, What’s a Sigma?”
