“Brand New Day” was the storyline in the comics where people forgot that they had known that Spider-Man is Peter Parker. Fitting.

He wasn’t announced as a cast member. There might be a cameo though (I’m predicting mid credits)…
I think they confirmed the events of Brand New Day take place at the same time as Doomsday so he won’t appear in the Avengers movie
I’m not even sure if Disney has any free Spiderman appearances for Avengers movies left in their current contract with Sony
