It’s hilarious to me that Capcom tried (and failed) to make a PVP RE a thing while the blueprint from Outbreak is right there if they wanted a serviceable multiplayer game so much. Naturally, it came down to what they thought was the most marketable trend to capitalize on (since Friday the 13th and DBD kickstarted Horror PVP) but that hardly did them any good.

Not for this game but I definitely can relate. I’ve bought a few games after listening to their OSTs and liking what I heard.

While I agree, it’s just another thing to emphasize just how out of touch these ghouls are.

I’d like to say that other universities might learn from this but nah.

A lot more emphasis on crew. They’re easier to acquire but also more fragile and prone to dying if you’re not careful.

Runs are still centered around defeating a final boss but the game is a lot more freeform/customizable and less punishing overall, at least on Torment 1 (compared to the “easiest” difficulty in FTL). You need to make your way to the final “ship” but there’s less pressure since you aren’t being hunted down by a pursuing fleet like in FTL.

This isn’t to say Void War “beats” FTL nor does it need to. It just has its own identity which I found refreshing as opposed to just playing another copy.

It’s especially annoying when talking about imperialism, labor aristocracy and settler-colonialism. Many “leftists” have a hard time with nuance and understanding what “contradiction” means, I found.

For quest mods, I’d recommend Beyond Reach if you haven’t played it. A dark fantasy questline written by Marxists that fits in beautifully into the world of TES.

Working on Main and MG questlines in Oblivion Remastered. Then I’ll do the SI expansion and “retire” my Hero of Kvatch-turned-Madgod (at least until Beth adds official mod support and people start making quest mods).

That’s exactly how I felt when I played P3R, as someone who last beat it back in… 2014. They kept it the same but perfected the visuals, improved the QoL dramatically and had a lot of unnecessary fat trimmed, particularly from the dungeon crawling aspect.

The rework of Mass Destruction seems to be polarizing but I absolutely fw It’s Going Down Now (I just wish it played at a 50% chance instead of every time you get the battle advantage).

I even got the Roads to Power DLC for CK3 so I can play an adventurer in Elder Kings.
