Hitler Youth vibes.
Hitler Youth vibes.
Being able to disengage from politics and even to consider that disengagement a virtue all the while living a prosperous and mostly safe life is a privilege that Americans have enjoyed. But the result of them steadfastly refusing to even think about who they want at the wheel has finally led to an utter lunatic driving. Theyre still sleepwalking, hoping they don’t need to engage. The shortest path out of this is acute economic pain.
Congress can revoke his “emergency” powers to do this whenever they want. They won’t though, because most Americans are so out of touch that they don’t know that. The final destination of “I don’t do politics” being the dominant view.
Lol how do you think the aftermath of Pearl Harbour would have gone if someone like Trump was in power instead of FDR? He is the commander in chief. Nothing will happen.
It could potentially stop Americans from sleepwalking into the decline of their country, perhaps. Maybe even generate the political will to get rid of Trump. But none of that is even close to happening. The easy road off this path hasn’t been available since last November. The path out of this mess now necessary leads through suffering.
This is why I wouldn’t put it past them to try to hide the real sales numbers. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re down 90+ percent and the company is effectively dead already. The board of directors are Elon’s creatures and their personal wealth will depend on keeping the facade (and stock price) up so they aren’t about to cry foul.
They don’t hold that power. If they step out of line Trump and Elon will berate them on Twitter and set their followers after them. If they still don’t fold they’ll “mention” their family members in the tweets. They will play ball. This is them pretending to have free will, not them actually having any .
The damage being done this time around isn’t fixable in a single term even with full congressional support.
It’s easier to tear something down than to build something up.
True, but more precisely it’s an order of magnitude harder to build than it is to destroy. Should there be a democratic administration after this they will find it impossible to put all these pieces back together in 4 years, and will get blamed for it like they always do, and lose again.
The right has put themselves into a position where destruction and failure are a future political asset for them.
The sausage steering wheel is pure gold.
The real trick is to build these in places where the tap water is naturally cold, and to heat the free stuff.
I think the gameplay of 2 was more “complete” and streamlined. I briefly played 1 but the spent thousands of hours in aoe2 and literally forgot what aoe1 was even like. When I went briefly tried 1 again it felt clunky. That said nothing wrong with enjoying aoe1.
The fact that this guy is famous literally thousands of years after he died because of how shitty is copper was, is absolutely hilarious.
Good. Americans deserve this.
