Yeah, I guess its not worth it. It just sucks seeing different reports of arrests and complicity with Israel that keep coming up and that I’d be contributing to the institution… But it kinda seems like most universities are guilty of that now so it feels impossible to avoid. Bah

I’m nearing 40 and can’t afford to move, and their masters program is very highly regarded. So for me, it’s either go back to school there or don’t. But my profession pays poverty wages; with my extensive experience I would be extremely lucky to even make 50k. Ive BEEN making 37k pretax for years. So I would likely have to try to break into another career path and I just don’t know if I can handle all that
Having an existential crisis rn because I may have to choose not to pursue my masters in protest of my universities position on global politics… I would really like to talk this through with someone if they have the capacity

I’m old so I keep referencing Third Strike because it was my fave besides the SNES games, but I think Elena made her debut in that one and she was super fun to play! Pretty fast with super fluid movements because of the Capoeira style.

Two of my greatest accomplishments in my life, probably:
Beating a middle school/highschool aged boy at Tekken when I was like 8. He got super mad and stormed off, I then felt bad and looked for him to tell him he could take over my game which would’ve been so much more humiliating lol
Beating someone who was obviously an arcade rat at Street Fighter 3rd Strike when I’d only really been playing it on PlayStation
I never read but now I need to read for my study group so NOW I’m putting off those required readings to read the book I have been unable to get myself to read for months right up until the final hours before my study group where I will speed read it all.

I used to get those while using deodorant with aluminum in it, idk if it was just like a blocked pore or something but they weren’t painful or anything. After I started using different deodorant it went away. Another possible option for you

Yes that makes a lot of sense and is what I assumed the strategy would be. When I tried to look for background on this, though, I just came across pieces that Lenin wrote to the Mensheviks about denouncing electoralism and nothing about his prior strategy so I was just a bit confused.
yeah, I guess that’s kind of a silly action to take if someone else would just take my place anyway, and I may be in a more secure position down the line to do better/more long term things with my money and time. Thank you for talking it through with me
