I once wondered how the German people could have allowed the Holocaust to happen. I no longer wonder.

yeah the Nazis had to spend a long time dealing with internal dissent before the genocide proper. Israel never had to dissapear israeli communists or others before they started. There has been basically no instability since the nakba.

The nazis had to build camps for german communists, even after decades of regular purges of the german left. Even in 1933 the KPD & SPD made up around 30% of the popular vote. Israel never needed to do such a thing in the first place. Israeli society is worse than nazi germany’s.

And this is why you should never allow ethnostates to fester. Because as soon as the majority has been normalized to fascism, genocide is always just a small step ahead.

You should read the article. In part:

Religious interpretations play a key role in shaping these views. Nearly half (47 percent) of respondents agreed that “when conquering an enemy city, the Israel Defense Forces should act as the Israelites did in Jericho under Joshua’s command – killing all its inhabitants.” Sixty-five percent said they believed in the existence of a modern-day incarnation of Amalek, the Israelite biblical enemy whom God commanded to wipe out in Deuteronomy 25:19. Among those believers, 93 percent said the commandment to erase Amalek’s memory remains relevant today.

This apocalyptic rhetoric has found fertile ground in religious Zionist circles, where leaders have long advocated for such extreme policies.

The zionists use religious state apparatuses to promote ideology, so it would make sense that the closer people are to them the closer they would be to the ideology

I don’t believe the figure it that high. It’s at odds with what we’ve seen in terms of orthodox jews being repressed for flying the palestinian flag, opposing the existence of a state of israel, etc. Two thirds of Haredi jews do not consider themselves zionists, it is a minority:

I think it’s much more likely that they’re doing some extreme bullshit with their sampling, or that non-zionist haredi simply refused to participate. The very existence of Israel is against the beliefs of most Haredi.

Is this disparity a result of Zionist Haredi self-selecting by immigrating?

If most Haredi feel Israel is against their beliefs, it stands to reason that most would avoid moving there. It also stands to reason the ones that did are already outside of the Haredi mainstream.

No. Haredi in Israel are a minority, the above 33/66 chart is inside Israel.

Also Haredi are growing in Israel, they will be the largest population segment by 2080. They have the highest birthrates. They don’t oppose being there in the holy land, they oppose the existence of a jewish state that has been constructed before the Messiah has returned. They believe the current entity of Israel is a heresy and that jews are only allowed to have a state after the messiah returns.

My best guess is that they’re refusing to participate in this kind of polling, or the polling is designed to be a lie to try and manipulate Haredi, because one thing Israel desperately wants is to change them before they become a majority.

Because Palestinians in Israel have a different perspective on the genocide to Jewish Israelis. Polls in Israel are often divided between Jews and Palestinians in Israel because of this.

Israel is an apartheid state, there are non-jewish nations trapped in the settler colony. Like the Armenians, Circassians and Palestinians of course.
