Important to note that this is Elisha Wiesel, hedge fund manager and son of Elie Wiesel, not Elie himself.

I’ve been paying 0 attention to this race because I’m not a pizza yellow cab ayy I’m walkin here enjoyer or even a burgerlandian at all, but I came upon a clip earlier today of the debate or whatever where there was this whole convoluted set up, the debate was twisted in knots purely to try and hit this guy with antisemitism accusations.

It was actually gobsmacking to watch the line of questioning develop. And cuomo saying his first visit would be Israel agony-deep these people disgust me, the circus, the self serving gaslighting…. Who even gives a shit where the mayor of New York visits, shouldn’t you be in New York? Doing things for your citizens?? You’re not the fucking foreign minister!!!

I feel my grip on sanity slipping away day by day. The eternal gaslighting and lying and cognitive dissonance. It’s too much for anyone to bear lol.

We have to have the difficult conversation with friends saying they’ll rank Mamdani on their list. We can engage by asking questions, and by being open about our concerns and just how profound they are.

    Squeal, pig! Squeal!

Wait, the guy who wrote Night sucks? Or just his son? That’s too bad either way. I don’t remember too much about the book, last read it in school forever ago, but I remember it being very emotionally powerful.

It’s still a really good and important book that is accessible to young teens to teach them of the horror of the holocaust. Any criticism of Wiesel has to do with his later actions and stances.

If anything him later on saying shit is proof that living through something doesn’t make you an expert and being a victim doesn’t mean you are beyond reproach.
